FM11 Top 10 Striking Prodigies

Firstly, although I've posted it, this guide was written jointly between myself and Foxo.
We've all heard of some of the best strikers on the game. Torres, Rooney, Ronaldo, Messi, Villa etc. But very few players will ever be in a position to be able to attract those players or afford the wage demands, or the initial transfer fee. In this list we've tried to highlight 10 players perhaps lesser known by most players, who will still become some of the best strikers on the game in their later life, given the right training.

He matures into one of the deadliest strikers on the game. Seriously. If you've just started and you have 10 million to spare, I cannot recommend this lad enough. If you don't you'll only end up having to spend a good deal more on him later in the game or put up with him scoring against you. Probably the best player on this list, once he is a bit old.

An absolute machine. Even at 17 he could do the job, but as his screenshot show he will improve. His physicality is something that'll trouble even the best defensives, and his mental stats are superb. At the beginning he might not be the best technically but he really does improve. Seriously.

Look out for this guy, often a couple of seasons into the game he will get stroppy and leave Man Utd, so you can sometimes get him cheap transfer listed or loan him. If you can, he's amazing. Incredibly quick and superb at finishing. You do need to be at a top club to have a chance though.

Probably one of the most expensive players on the list but he is a very good player. Will set you back a bit of cash, so not a viable target for many but if you do sign him he wont let you down.

Cheap, not fussy about who he joins and grows into a very good player You can get him on very cheap wages also and he will grow into an amazing player, just check out that 2020/21 screenshot above. What a player!

Becoming one of the best target men on the game, Sanogo is a must have, even if you just want to make quick money, easily sold on for 15-20m after three or four seasons. If you don't sign him, he'll end up at Liverpool, or Manchester United, and is highly likely to score against you. He is well rounded physically so will be a presence as a lone striker in a few seasons time.

Neymar is a brilliant young Brazilian, your typical flair and creative South American. While he has low finishing he matures into a creative force when played as part of a duo up front, while his pace unlocks defences. Quite expensive and can be tricky to get a work permit for however.

Like Abel Hernandez, expensive for his age, and will want a high wage, but with Bojan you get a young striker with international experience already, and a quality player of the ball on the ground. His low strength and heading makes him a liability in the air, but he will prove to be a lethal poacher.

The only co-owned player on the list, Paloschi matures to have perfect finishing, and prove possibly the most lethal striker on FM11. He already has strong mental attributes, making him a perfect choice as an impact sub initially in his career. He needs snapping up quickly though, before his co-own expires and AC Milan take advantage.

Zigoni is on the fringes at Genoa, but can potentially become a titan up front. His physical stats already dwarf many other strikers older than him, meaning that when matured Zigoni will be unstoppable by many defences, getting to 19/20 strength. He has well rounded finishing and heading too, providing you with an all round striker, who possesses a reasonable turn of pace.
