How to install the Football Manager 2012 Data Editor & Resource Archiver

Oct 30 2011 12:29 PM | The Pioneer in Articles
In the past editions of the Football Manager series we have all known and grown acustom to the location of the Data editor should we want to do a little tweaking or data base creating of our own. With Football Manager 2012 and the introduction of Steam the way this is available has changed slightly, no longer is it available directly from the moment you have finished installing the game. Instead you need to download it off steam and follow a simple instillation process as I'm going to show you now.

First, you open your Steam Library and change your section from Games to Tools

After you've done this you'll find a large list of tools and add ons for specific games you can download, simply scroll down the list until you find the Football Manager 2012 Editor and Football Manager 2012 Resource Archiver.

To begin the instillation process simply double click the feature you would like to install and follow the simple screen processes given.

A short installation process later and your feature will be downloading in the back ground whilst you begin planning your data editor entry or database creations.

You'll known when it's finish downloading through a few forms of notification, a pop up from steam when it's finished or the dotted lines above your steam icon in your notifications bar will disappear.

From there you can either access the programs from your start bar programs list, desktop or the steam tools area depending how you primarily access the features. Me personally, I'll probably file these away and access them through the steam tools area.

Hey presto, your finished! Happy editing TASians!!
