My turn this week for the first time in ages, and it is a day late due to me being ill so sorry about that.
First up this week is StuW's A Journey into the Unknown in which he tricked everyone who read it into thinking he was going to Norway to manage Molde BK. He has in fact taken charge at Leicester City, the style is very fluent and easy to read, with some great interviews. It will be interesting to see if he taps into Leicesters great spending power.
Second is the only one of what Jad has coined the "fab four" that makes it this week, on the basis I can't feature myself
The Pioneer may be cutting short his time at Juventus in his story Nice One Stan after Daniel Karbassiyoon tweeted him urging him to move on to take the vacant Arsenal job following the sacking of the previous manager and he is keeping us in suspense following an interview with the Juventus chairman.
Doig is possibly TAS's longest surviving Pentagon challenger, not because he sticks with the same save though
Currently in Cracking the Pentagon he is in charge at F.C.A.K in South Africa, a seemingly standard place for the challenge to start, and after a phenomenal first season they are in the Premier Division where they are the only semi-professional side. Does Doig have the patience to see it through?
Jad's story could very easily make the fab four a fantastic five, having won the Champions League in incredible fashion while at Dinamo Zagreb, he has moved into the 2034/35 season of his story Puns are for gays at Fiorentina and seems to have adapted my bug for spending massive overpriced amounts on ageing players. Maybe it is something to do with the Italian leagues? However you can't argue with the success Jad is currently having.
Jackk!'s rather ambitious story title From Bromley to Barcelona is currently not coming true as he is struggling to get anywhere above League 2 in England having left Bromley, retired the initial manager and created a son, rather unimaginatively name Jack Cunningham II in American fashion. He was dealing in saving Leyton Orient from relegation a while ago but turned them around and recently reached the League 2 playoffs, read how he got on!
And finally, a few new stories for you to enjoy, even with FM12 so close some members still have the energy to start saves, fair play to them ![]()
Jubes - Sir Jubes - Managing Crawley, the Football Leagues big spenders
Devo - Seventy Four Leagues, Gotta get a job somewhere - 3 clubs and counting, a Pentagon attempt.
Daniel - Athletic Club - see how well he deals with the Basque restrictions
oem - Zero to Hero - Barcelona B, an interesting choice with the transfer restrictions
That's all from me, Doig (I think) will be with you next week to give you a careers round up ![]()
